Animator David Nethery pointed me toward this intriguing 2D animated feature coming from Denmark, The Apple & the Worm , directed by Anders Morgenthaler ( Princess ). It was apparently made totally paperless, drawn on Wacom Cintiq tablets, using TVP Animation software. If any of our bilingual readers can translate the trailer’s introductory dialogue, please send us a comment. AWN Dock 0.4 - Avant Window Navigat...launchpad.net install: avant-window-navigator awn-applets-c-extras Avant-window-navigator (Awn) is a MacOS X like panel for the GNOME Desktop written in C. Customizing the Ubuntu Desktop: Ins...There are many Mac-like docks available for Linux and thus Ubuntu. In this video I'll install one of the most stable, AWN. It's available through the repositories so its fairly easy to install, though it may or may not be the most recent version. I'll go through some of the setup options. AWN launchpad.net
Avant Window Navigator (AVN) - MacO...This is a comprehensive tutorial/how to video on downloading, installing and configuring AWN using repositories. AWN is a dock/app launcher/taskbar application that is inspired by MacOS X-es dock, or whatever that thing on the bottom of the screen's called. The application's not only nice on the eyes it's also quite useful as you will soon realise after watching this video. Eat Ghee - Feature Film (2010)...Grab some dhoklas, samosas, popcorn and a bottle of Thums Up and enjoy this YouTube EXCLUSIVE film! **Eat Ghee was once a web series satirizing Indian soaps and serials but eventually got converted into a movie due to limited ability to continue the series properly. It is now a 70 minute feature-length film somewhat in the style of the Coen brothers' "Burn After Reading." It is a story of a bunch of wacky Canadian high school kids beginning their new semester. The focus of the story in particular is of Bhavesh, who is head over heels for a girl named Azra. One day, he gets an important text from a special someone that gives him hope to impress Azra and starts a new chapter for everyone at school. Vikram Bhansali, a Indian FOB boy who moves to Canada a day before gets befriended by Bhavesh and his friends in the same Physics class. In the process, Bhavesh soon realises that Azra is beginning to fall in love with Vikram and conflict ensues. Many twists an confusions await. ;) All in good fun. ** This film involved no adult help and was made by young teens under the age of 18. We were all busy with school and working so it was hard to film this properly and a lot of the script had to be made on the spot due to actors dropping out. There are obvious loose ends in the film, but hey we're young and we spent no money on this and just had fun doing it. Director: Simon Olivier Fecteau Length: 7'35 Origin: Canada A cable guy is called in to repair an old mans TV set. Once inside the clients home, the repairman realizes theres nothing wrong with the TV. Rather its the images broadcasted on the screen: wars, famine, illness and kidnappings, that are broken. Moved by the clients naïve request, and against his better judgment, the cable guy will attempt to fix the problem. Simon Olivier Fecteau has started his career at Radio-Canada, in 1999, with the group Chick'n Swell and its eponym TV show that was awarded best comic TV show in 2004 (Gemeaux Awards). Then, he directed two shorts: Les derniers jours and Le pouce vert. He co-directed the Radio-Canada's Bye Bye in 2006 and 2007. The same year, he is co-directing with Marc-André Lavoie his first feature film, Bluff. He is actually working on his next feature script but he still had the time to make the short film The Technician.

3D HD - Turning Point Feature lengt...3D HD conversion feature film 2002. Yes, this is the first full length 3D feature film on youtube. My synopsis: Mark Nicholson runs around the forest trying to find out where he left his sense of style getting pnuemonia in the process. Along the way he meets an emo friend who likes to sit on stumps. Fotunately somewhere in there a sword appears as well as a gun and there is a tiny bit of action but it's painful becasue you have to watch all the rest of the film beforehand with me looking like a weeaboo.
