Looney Tunes on Cartoon Network

Cartoon Network takes a lot of heat around here, but when they do something right we’ll report it and celebrate it. Starting today, classic Warner Bros. cartoons return to the channel in a six-hour marathon (1pm-7pm EST), and the network has scheduled a regular daily hour of Looney Tunes at 11am Eastern (8am Pacific) each weekday. You can check the schedule here . Let’s support this move. Watch some Looney Tunes today, and tell your friends. Let’s show them that cartoons belong on a Cartoon Network.

I may add shading to the characters to make them more believable when I have the time, but for now, it can be posted. And BOY did this take long! I did this without any tweening anyway- yes, the animation is produced in Flash. BGs are painted in Photoshop. As you may have heard, Warner Bros. has hired AnimalLogic to animate his story BONE in CG- this video shows my take on how it would look if it were going to be produced in 2D. Sound is taken from the soundtrack of TellTale Games' video game of the series. Reflecting on this, even though the movie will be in CG, I REALLY think they should have a little 2D in it! Like, maybe in the opening and/or closing credits... or maybe in a short sequence in the body of the film!! It worked marvelously for Kung Fu Panda, and Cloudy... and I see a growing emergence of traditionally-animated credit sequences nowadays!!! Someone should suggest this to him! Here's to you, Jeff. Classic Game Room HD - RETRON 3: SN...Part 1 of 2. Classic Game Room HD reviews the Hyperkin RETRON 3. Part 2 here www.youtube.com This is a video game console that plays Super Nintendo SNES, Nintendo 8-bit NES and 16-bit Sega Genesis video games. It even has S-Video (which works for Genesis and SNES) as well as standard composite video. The Retron3 comes with 2 wireless controllers which are acceptable for NES games but have poor Genesis button mapping. More importantly though, the Retron 3 allows you to play with your original controllers for Genesis, NES and SNES!! Now, that's a feature!! This CGR review of the Hyperkin Retron 3 shows gameplay from several video games including Gaiares on Genesis, Ultraman on SNES and Zanac on Nintendo Entertainment System NES. This video shows the s-video quality of the Hyperkin Retron3 compared to a modified Sega Genesis Model 1 and demonstrates the audio quality. Video quality is very impressive and audio is not bad, although it lacks some of the dynamics that the original Genesis produces. Overall performance was awesome and CGR thinks that this console should not be overlooked when shopping for replacement old school systems. Flexibility, quality and original controller compatibility make the Retron 3 a bombastic classic video game console.
