T.M.M.o.F is short for The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack which is a pretty darn decent show on Cartoon Network. I’ve seen probably 10 now and its definitely an awesome show kids and usually a half-awesome show for easily amused adults (like me). But at this point in my life, ANY cartoon I can have on with my 14 month old which is not Dora or Diego is great. Anyway, about the show titles! They are often the most arteestic part of the show, and I went searching for these a few weeks ago and came up

Lost Bosko title card?
I’d never seen this before. Oh I’d seen the cartoon, but not this title card. Mike Kazaleh found a recent upload of a rare 2-color MGM Bosko cartoon on You Tube. It apparently comes from a newly restored print and contains a few flash frames of a previously unseen Bosko title card (above) at the end. This frame isn’t on the TV...

Looney Tunes on Cartoon Network
Cartoon Network takes a lot of heat around here, but when they do something right we’ll report it and celebrate it. Starting today, classic Warner Bros. cartoons return to the channel in a six-hour marathon (1pm-7pm EST), and the network has scheduled a regular daily hour of Looney Tunes at 11am Eastern (8am Pacific) each weekday. Brew Shopping Tip: Hallmark Hanna Barbera cards
I was searching for a Father’s Day card yesterday and although my dad isn’t particularly environmentally conscious, I had to buy this card (click thumbnails below to enlarge). It’s interesting to revisit this piece today — the channel’s current agenda is a far cry from its...

Virus Attack
Cartoon Network may be trying to attract teens through live-action, but never fear – they haven’t left animation completely behind. Apparently in an effort to sponsor the worst animation in the world, they’ve greenlit a new sci-fi cartoon show being made by an Italian company called Mondo TV (the lovely people behind Titanic:...
