Animation As a Form of Media
Animation can be used to inform, educate, advertise and express emotions just as live action can by using the same techniques; such as the use of colour, film language and sound. The NSPCC advert by Russell Brooke on television is a good example of how animation can be more effective than live action. There is no limit to how much a situation or an...

Cartoons and animations are all around us. We grew up with them, we laughed at them, we may have even cried with them. We enjoyed them as children and even still as adults. But where exactly did they start? Someone had to take the time to create them, and that someone is the animator.  Read More →

A History of Dragon Ball Z Games
The very first Dragon Ball universe game was on a system that the average game has never heard of, the Super Cassette Vision, a console released in 1981 by an equally unknown company, Epoch. Needless to say, Dragonball Z games had a rocky start, considering the first Dragonball Z game released in North America was changed so drastically that the Dragonball...
Extn. 21 by Lizzie Oxby
In 2007, you’ll recall Madame Tutli Putli ’s disturbing and effective use of live action eyes composited onto the animated puppets. The...
