  Speed painting and exclusive materiasl - visit my new website at www.williams-shamir.com to see works in progress and get inside information and thoughts on my paintings and other things hi everyone and how are you ? i hope you guys are doing good and all is well with you ... this is my latest painting done with photoshop and an inteous 3 A4 tablet ... with this one iv'e tried something interesting ... the car is painted from a picture i found on some magazine ... and everything else was from imagination ... the goal was to try and match everything to the car and to make it all look realistic ... i think the end result looks pretty nice ... this was a very good exercise ... i wanted to base the dragon on a snake's anatomy ... so that's why the dragon looks a little bit like a snake ... ( one friend actually told me the dragon looks a bit like he's smiling lol ) the goal of this practice and a lot of my other paintings is learning actually ... my final aim is to be able to paint totaly realistic from imagination which is very very hard and then i'll be able to paint ideas iv'e been having in my head for a long long time thank you guys so much for joining me with my journey of improving ... you guys are totaly sweet and awesome the music on this one is something iv'e actually composed around when i was 18 i think ... back then i didn't have any good equipment and i used to work with an old program for DOS !!! called impulse tracker ( which i actually find as the most <b>...</b>

I show you some of the good the techniques I use when I paint the painting. Speaking through a language consisting only of lines and colors, Abstract Art can be a translation, expression, or a representation of something rather than a portrait of it. Some individuals compare it to that of a child's school project. Defined, Abstract Art uses a visual language of form, color, and line to create a composition. It may exist with a degree of independence from visual references in the world. Throughout history there were 3 art movements that contributed to the evolution of this timeless art: Romanticism originated in the second half of the 18th century in Western Europe where it increased in its popularity during the industrial revolution. It can be described as a revolt to aristocratic social and political norms during times of Western philosophy and cultural life: the Age of Enlightenment Expressionism artists explored new techniques such as intense colors, drawing distortions, and bold use of paint surface. This would create incredibly emotionally charged works that came from reaction and emotion rather than a subject.   Here I use a little photoshop trick to color the lines of the ink: blocking the transparent pixels of the layer with the ink (only works if there is no background color!). I also changed the clothes color and ended up with something gay...Blargh!

  Johann Eyfells has hundreds of these sculptures all over his ten acre yard. They are quite a sight. I noticed them from driving by and had to turn in and explore these forms. Fortunately Johann Eyfells himself was there and he invited us to view all of this, even taking us into his home which was filled with more of his wife's paintings. She painted faces and parts of faces giving them lines and colors that are very interesting. You can find out more about his move of all his sculpture on a website entitled www.EyfellsandEyfells.com
